How do I buy something?
Find a product you like, then tap the "Order on WhatsApp" button on the listing. This opens a WhatsApp chat with the vendor and pre-fills the message with the product name, price, and a link back to the listing. You then chat directly with the seller to confirm your order.
Do I need an account to shop?
No. Shoppers never need to register or log in. You browse the site freely and contact vendors directly on WhatsApp when you're ready to buy.
How do I pay?
Payment is arranged directly with the vendor in your WhatsApp conversation. Common methods in Sri Lanka include cash on delivery, bank transfer (online banking or Sampath/Commercial/BOC etc.), and in-person pickup. The vendor will tell you their preferred options.
Are vendors verified?
Yes. Every vendor on the platform has been manually reviewed and approved by our team before they can list products. We check that applications come from real local businesses. Vendors can also be reported, and we act on genuine complaints.
How do I become a vendor?
Visit our vendor registration page, fill in your business details, and submit the form. Our team reviews applications within 24–48 hours. Once approved, you'll receive access to your vendor dashboard to start adding products.
Is there a commission on sales?
No. WhatsAppVendors.lk charges zero commission. Every rupee a customer pays goes directly to you. We may introduce optional premium listing features in future, but the core marketplace will always be free to use.
What currency are prices listed in?
All prices on WhatsAppVendors.lk are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Vendors set their own prices and can update them at any time from their dashboard.
Is my WhatsApp number shared with vendors?
Only if you choose to contact a vendor. Tapping "Order on WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp on your device — your number is shared only when you actively send that first message. We do not share any shopper contact information with vendors on your behalf.
